It dates back to…well, I don’t even remember how old I was. I just remember it by hearing it as a narration from my parents and siblings since I started understanding stuff. They say, even as a toddler I was quite insistent on going to school and begin my formal education. The fact that we had relocated to a new city and I had 2 elder sisters whose admission to new schools took precedence over mine, delayed the beginning of my formal education. I would pester my mom to send me to school and I would even cry when I saw other kids jumping into their school vans and buses.
Stories are told about how I marched out of my house one day to a nearby school with a pseudo bag carrying random books and stationery and demanded the watchman to open the school gates for me. My mother was chasing me and finally happened to reach me, explaining the situation to the watchman and then carrying me home in her arms, all sulking and complaining. Finally, my parents decided that they could no longer delay my admission and visited the nearest play school in our locality.
Till date, this is an example of #LittleMeInspiringMe. I keep wondering about how pushy I was to achieve whatever I wanted and to what extent I went to make it happen.
If I could do it then, why not now?
