Two defining incidents in my college years identified my calling. I am grateful to have a career that gives me tremendous satisfaction to make a difference in the world. During college in Bangalore I had the opportunity to work with shelterless street children and provide them homes and importantly provide them with an identity. Later, another incident where I had the chance to rehabilitate leprosy afflicted patients by providing them a job at a brick kiln and giving them a source of income was gratifying. These two life-changing episodes pushed me into a career where I would have the opportunity to impact the underprivileged, make a difference in the community, and see a smile on their faces.
